SIGIR 2024 Sponsorship Benefits and Terms

On behalf of the Organizing Committee for the 47th International ACM SIGIR Conference on Research and Development in Information Retrieval (SIGIR 2024), we invite you to participate in the conference as a sponsor or exhibitor.

SIGIR is a major international forum for presentations of the latest state-of-the-art research and demonstration of new systems and methods for connecting people with information: from search engines, recommender systems, digital libraries, and social network technology to compelling applications in health, legal, educational, and other domains, research at SIGIR spans academia, industry, and government.

As a top-tier international conference affiliated with the main computer science professional organization, the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), SIGIR is attended by many of the world’s top researchers and practitioners who work in research areas that include information retrieval, recommendation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, human-computer interaction, and more. The ACM SIGIR Conference is the gathering place for current and future leaders and innovators from all over the world to discuss and present the state of the art in connecting people with information.

The conference also hosts top Ph.D. students from the most prestigious institutions in computer and information science, and will host a number of events bringing together academia, industry, and public sectors.

Our sponsorship options offer a range of different ways for you to become part of this amazing event. Apart from different sponsorship levels with tailored benefits we are also open to individual suggestions such as the sponsorship of specific sessions and social events.

Sponsorship packages

All sponsors will receive a set of standard benefits as outlined below, with additional benefits for each level summarized in the following descriptions. The conference organizers are also happy to tailor alternative opportunities to suit your needs. To maximize your options and publicity exposure, please confirm your participation by the earliest date possible.

Standard benefits for all sponsors

  • Recognition as a sponsor, with organization logo, in the conference program.
  • Recognition as a sponsor, with organization logo, on the Sponsors page of the official SIGIR 2024 website and the official conference platform, with hyperlink to your organization’s home page.
  • Recognition as a sponsor on the official acknowledgement board onsite at the Conference.
  • Use of the conference logo until the end of July 2024.

Diamond (to be agreed upon)

  • Be the single SIGIR 2024 diamond sponsor.
  • All other platinum benefits, plus exclusive custom benefits tailored to your organization’s needs.

Platinum: 30,000 USD

  • Recognition as host of a selected conference event, with priority in selection over other sponsors (a list of possible sponsorship events and opportunities will be made available or upon inquiry).
  • Opportunity to sponsor and name a social event during the conference, where you would be identified as the sole sponsor. You may address a welcome speech at your sponsored event.
  • Option to speak to the audience at your hosted event.
  • Verbal acknowledgement as a Platinum Sponsor during the opening and closing sessions of the conference and your sponsored social events.
  • The organization’s involvement as a sponsor, and any sponsored events, will be publicized on multiple social media platforms, including the upcoming SIGIR 2024 YouTube Channel.
  • Complimentary registrations: six conference delegate registrations (full passport to all events). Two exhibitor (booth-only) registrations.
  • The sponsor may provide a free standing banner that will be positioned in the main conference registration area for the duration of the conference (max size 2m high x 1m wide).
  • Prominent placement of a large logo with link on the homepage of the main conference website and the official conference platform.
  • One exhibition booth located in a prominent conference location (with priority in booth selection).
  • Pre-enrolled 20-second promotion videos for your company to display on SIGIR 2024 YouTube Channel.
  • 200-word profile and sponsor logo in the conference program.
  • Full-page advertising space in the paper-free conference program (with artwork supplied by the sponsor).
  • Large logo on selected other conference promotional materials (with artwork supplied by the sponsor).
  • Promotional brochure (max. Letter (A4) size, 4 pages folded per brochure) or promotional flash drive to be inserted in the registration satchel (with material supplied by the sponsor - promotional item must be approved by SIGIR).
  • Access to an ‘opt-in’ database of attendees interested in employment and other opportunities.
  • Other benefits provided to all conference sponsors.

Gold: 20,000 USD

  • Recognition as host of a selected conference event (a list of possible sponsorship events and opportunities will be made available or upon inquiry).
  • Option to speak to the audience at your hosted event.
  • Verbal acknowledgement as a Gold sponsor during the opening and closing sessions of the conference.
  • The organization’s involvement as a sponsor, and any sponsored events, will be publicized on social media.
  • Complimentary registrations: four conference delegate registrations (full passport to all events), and one exhibitor (booth-only) registration.
  • Prominent placement of a large logo with link on the homepage of the main conference website and the official conference meeting platform.
  • One exhibition booth located in a prominent conference location (with priority in booth selection).
  • 120-word profile and sponsor logo in the conference program.
  • Half-page advertising space in the paper-free conference program (with artwork supplied by the sponsor).

Silver: 10,000 USD

  • Complimentary registrations: two conference delegate registrations (full passport to all events)and one exhibitor (booth-only) registration.
  • Placement of a medium-sized logo with link on the homepage of the main conference website and the official conference meeting platform.
  • One exhibition booth located in a regular conference location.
  • 75-word profile and sponsor logo in the paper-free conference program.
  • Half-page advertising space in the paper-free conference program (with artwork supplied by the sponsor).
  • Medium-size logo on selected other conference promotional materials.
  • Pre-enrolled 10-second promotion videos for your company to display on SIGIR 2024 YouTube Channel.
  • Promotional brochure (max. Letter (A4) size, 4 pages folded per brochure) to be inserted in registration satchel.
  • Special thanks during the opening and closing events.

Bronze: 5,000 USD

The Bronze sponsor package includes all the standard sponsorship benefits and entitlements outlined on the standard benefits section, plus:

  • Complimentary registrations: one conference delegate registration (full passport to all events).
  • Placement of a small logo with link on the homepage of the main conference website and the official conference meeting platform.
  • 80-word profile and sponsor logo in the conference program.
  • Small logo on selected other conference promotional materials.
  • Pre-enrolled 10-second promotion videos for your company to display on SIGIR 2024 YouTube Channel.
  • Promotional brochure (max. Letter (A4) size, 4 pages folded per brochure) to be inserted in registration satchel.
  • Special thanks during the opening and closing events.

Additional standalone options

Stationery: 3,000 USD (exclusive)

  • Pens and notepads provided by the sponsor will be included in the satchel.

Exhibitor: 1,000 USD

  • Recognition as an exhibitor (with organization logo) in the conference program.
  • Recognition as an exhibitor (with organization logo) in the sponsors section of the SIGIR conference Web site and the official conference meeting platform, including a hyperlink to the organization’s home page.
  • One exhibition table (approx. 1.8 x 0.45m) located in a dedicated exhibition area for the duration of the main conference.
  • One exhibitor registration (covers access to exhibition areas Mon-Wed).
  • Exhibitors are limited to publishers only.

Satchel inserts: 1,000 USD (max. 10 sponsors)

  • Promotional brochure of up to four pages inserted in registration satchel (brochure provided by sponsor).

Any promotional materials to be included in the registration satchel are subject to approval by the SIGIR 2024 General Chairs.
